Collaboration with Ethan

My son, Ethan and I like to draw together. He especially likes to try and draw on top of whatever I'm drawing. It's a fun to see what happens.

Emerging Face

This is a sketch after The Daughter of Jakob Meyer by Hans Holbein. I used concentrated watercolor and no matter how I tried to cover over my first attempt with gesso, it kept reappearing. So I just left it. Maybe it's cool, maybe not.
